Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new upscale mercantile/dry goods retail store in a resort mountain town in Idaho. It should harken back a bit to the old mercantile signs of the past, but with a decidedly modern, classy feel. We aren't selling jams, jellies and candy. Rather we will carry blankets, leather goods, enamel mugs, kitchen wares, etc. This is a high-end area, and while we want to offer affordable goods, they will skew higher end.

Target Market(s)

Both locals and visitors with some disposable income. That said, we'll try to carry items people actually need and will use regularly.
