Iconic Outdoor Stage Design - polished sci-fi feel (James Bond x Aston Martin x Captain Marvel)
- Guaranteed
3D Design Brief
Background
I am setting up Australia's first ever Jetpack/Jetsuit flight training and experience centre in Sydney Motorsport Park which will be seen by everyone entering and exiting the Park. For this reason, I need a prestige, slick and attention-grabbing body to cover up the functional aluminium truss stage. As a semi-permanent structure, it needs something much more premium looking than branded banners attached to a truss; and must be weather-proof (wind, sun, rain, storms) as it is elevated on a hill and fully exposed.
TARGET AUDIENCE to which the design should appeal / relate: Aston Martin, Ferrari, Porsche and Aircraft owners
DESIGN INSPIRATION: James Bond (polished, strong, premium, slick) meets Captain Marvel (futuristic, sci-fi, powerful, superhero).
REQUIREMENTS - please use the following as a checklist.
1) Aesthetic Requirements (MUST HAVE)
Imbues the essence of iJETPACK’s brand:
a. Strong / powerful but not intimidating
b. polished / stylish / prestige but not pompous
c. dynamic / innovative / forward-thinking but not alienating
d. Not mandatory: consider finishes that bring in a racing element, like a carbon-fibre effect (see red&black concept attached)
2) BRANDING
a) iJETPACK's wings brandmark per attached (with or without the 'iJETPACK' wording)
3) SIZE & INTERNAL FEATURES (the skeleton to be covered by your design)
a) Stage floor: aluminium lattice 10m (L) x 3m (W) x 0.6m (H) - must not be covered; must have steps to access
b) Truss box: must fit over the stage floor; 6 m (H) from floor to cross beams; must have a 10m (L) center beam as a pulley system will be attached to this.
4) SHAPE & EXTERNAL FEATURES
a) no permanent walls - all sides to be accessible for flight from/to the stage
b) ceiling/roof covering must be breathable material (not solid) to provide sun and rain reduction while not producing mechanical turbulence
c) temporary walls of breathable material to allow temporary sun protection as the sun moves through the day (eg, curtains / roll down blinds) -- nb: these will also be used to restrict/enable audience visibility and/or as a branded backdrop for media calls / content creation.
d) temporary walls to feature the iJETPACK brandmark (with or without wording)
5) PERIMETER BOARD(S) / SIGNAGE
a) between 5 - 30M in length
b) branded with iJETPACK + SMSP/ARDC (with or without the "Official Innovation & Technology Partner” wording); + HeliJen (with or without “Official Test Site 2021 World Record” wording) - see attached
c) grabs attention from over 50 M distance
NOTE
The attached stage mockups featuring a jetpack are for illustrative purposes only - they intend to show the position and distance of the location. They do not meet the design aesthetic brief and should therefore not be replicated.
The attached red & black stage mockup is more in tune with the brief and may be considered as a baseline concept.
REWARD
If the winning design is produced, the designer will be credited in relevant media.

Nice to have
- 1d. Consider finishes that bring in a racing element, for example, carbon-fibre effect (see red&black concept attached)
2b. Inclusion of our strapline "DEFY IMPOSSIBLE" would be good to be featured in the main stage design as it fits well with the motorsport park competitors/visitors
Should not have
- Should not be child-like
