Logo Design Brief

I would like a minimalistic logo design that is easy to read from a distance. I might like a simple shopping cart in the image but am not set on the idea.
I would like true colors like red, blue or yellow.
The store will sell household goods, makeup, skin and hair care, cards, toys, gifts, cleaners, laundry items, pet products and a small selection of food.

Target Market(s)

We serve a small community in South Dakota, USA. It has strong roots in farming and ranching. We will be primarily be targeting women between the ages of 30 and 70 who are purchasing goods for their households. There are many conservative households in the area.

Requirements

Must have

• Must say "MJ's"
  It can say MJ's Market" and it can say "a Dakota Value" which is our tag line
  Very easy to read. Very clear and simple.

Nice to have

• Bold, easy to read font. Easy to spot from a distance. I am fine with an image if it is simple and does not distract- like a shopping cart or shopping bag.
  My name is Molly B so if a character was picked it might be fun if it was a bee.
  I wouldn't want all of these things because SIMPLE IS BETTER! Sorry for yelling.

Should not have

• Fine details that are hard to make out. Obscure colors that are difficult to match. True colors are better because I can find items to flow with my store better.
