Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our business building upscale residences in the remote Virginia countryside. The business name is Shenandoah Woodlands.

1. Please create a silhouette of the mountain known as "Hogback Mountain" - a photo of the profile of the mountain is provided below - it is just the lefthand portion of the mountain, that looks like the back of a hog. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT A DESIGN WITH A STOCK MOUNTAIN.

2. The mountain needs to be created to look like the profile of Hogback Mountain and should be in the background. Please do not color the mountain in, just do a brushstroke outline of the mountain's silhouette.

3. The mountain is part of the Blue Ridge mountain range, so the brushstroke silhouette should be blue, or blue-grey, or purple-grey.

4. Please include a tree (or several trees) in the foreground.

5. Please include an allusion to a home, perhaps little square windows or a rooftop.

6. If it looks good, please include an allusion to fields, with a brushstroke.

7. Please put the words "Shenandoah Woodlands" below the logo.

8. There will be a pond on the property if you want to make something that resembles water.

9. Please use two colors, perhaps blue and green.

The farmland in Virginia is rolling hills with lots of trees and beautiful open fields (see photos below). We are going to maintain this openness and privacy, with very large lots, big fields, forests and trees. The final design should look elegant, beautiful and not "cute." We would like it to convey a sense of an upscale, safe, spacious, private community of really lovely homes amidst trees and rolling hills.

Should not have

• 1. Stock mountains that do not look like Hogback.
  2. A bird, sun, clouds, or flower.
  3. Black background.
