Logo Design Brief
I am opening a 60,000 square feet venue similar to TopGolf, but focused on Pickleball. Based in Cincinnati, this outdoor-oriented facility will feature a chef-driven venue with locally sourced food, a craft brewery, 10 world-class pickleball courts, and lots of other activities such as corn hole, shuffleboard, bocce ball, etc. The vibe is energetic, active, social, fun, and vibrant. Google images of Pickleballs for the vibrant colors of the sport.
Target Market(s)
There are two main demographics we're targeting: 25-35 year-olds, and empty nesters.
Logo Text
"OZ" is name of business. I would also consider "OZ!"

Requirements
Must have
- I tend to like simpler, cleaner designs.
Again, the tone of the brand is fun, active, social, energetic, playful.
Nice to have
- Obviously, the "O" in OZ lends itself well to being a pickleball. This is not a "must have," and I don't want it to be forced, but it could be helpful in communicating the brand even without the tagline.
The Pantone Color of the year, "Illuminating" (Pantone 13-0647 TCX) is appealing. Again, I am open to ideas, but there is something about this yellow which I really like,
The tagline "Food * Drink * Pickleball" is definitely secondary and should not be emphasized heavily.
Should not have
- I do not like overly busy designs, so don't try to include too much visually... no need to include a pickleball paddle, and the ball, and some action, and all of the words...
Less is more.
