Logo Design Brief

IMOMI is a name I chose as part of my own name (Michelle - IM MI) IMOMI is an online webshop for affordable home decorations.

At the moment I am receiving a lot of designs that are hard to compare with home decorations - Even though I love abstract - looking at a logo people still need to see "oh this might be that kind of shop".

(1) I am looking for a minimalistic logo, but still has a playful touch to it. As my business name is quite long I prefer a smaller seperate logo that I can use later on to sticker products with or can actually laserjet and use as lips for pillows etc. I prefer the colour gold (example colour in below logos). Keep the logo sharp and shiny. But also like this kind of yellow with greyscale colours.

(2) For the name design (IMOMI Home Decorations) I would prefer the colours black gold or yellow with greyscale colours., but I don't want to limit your talents in designing logo's so please feel free to design otherwise. My website is www.imomi.com.au in case you want to "feel" the atmosphere of the shop. Just keep in mind I like simple, not a Picasso work! :)

So the idea is to merge logo 1 and 2 together, but being able to use logo 1 as a separate logo aswell.

The logo should be universal and not looking Asian/Arabic etc. The logo should also would be associated with home decoration.

I am very excited what you could create for me and I am sure I will pick one!

Requirements

Must have

• simplicity, abstract, associated with home decorations.
  
  Logo must be able to be split up in a logo by itself and the name.

Nice to have

• Black and gold (shiny) colours - I have uploaded examples of the colour gold I would like (not the logos!!)
  I don't like the orange/yellow golds.
  
  I also like yellow with dark grey and light grey.

Should not have

• Too noisy design
  
  No Adobe Illustrator examples!! (I know this program and I want something original)
