Logo Design Brief

Tamper DEV is a chrome extension that allows web developers and security researchers to tamper/modify HTTP requests in Chrome, Edge and Opera. The name comes from the add-on called Tamper-Data (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tamper-data-for-ff-quantum/) for Firefox.

The icon will be used to activate the extension, so should be clear and visible and something people will recognize quickly when going through their extension list (so bold colors, sharp large strokes are better than small short lines with pastel colors).

For inspiration/mood boards look at vscode, sublime text, burp suite, and metasploit.

Requirements

Must have

• Must be clear and visible in a 32x32 icon (can have smaller details when seen on 256x256 size, but 99% of the time people will see it on 32x32) - please include a 32x32 version on your submission! :)
  
  Can't just be "Tamper", if it includes "Tamper", then it must contain the word dev (or DEV or Dev or something). Can also be tamper.dev (as a domain). The icon can't just be "dev", though (but T or D in the logo are fine, just not only Dev).
  
  Must convey the purpose of the extension, not just its name.
  
  Please make your submission in a single image include the following:
  1. a 32x32 icon in light background (grey or white)
  2. a full-size logo with the name of the tool in dark background
  3. a full-size logo in light background

Nice to have

• The extension uses a dark theme (black background), something like that would work.
  I'm happy to accept submissions with graphics/symbols instead of letters.

Should not have

• Please don't use just the word "Tamper", as that belongs to someone else =)
