it's a vintage typewriter .. must have been your dad's or grandpa's .. I assume it's been there since the time of world war 2 or later period .. I can also see a pic of a person and a child .. the image of the person must be your dad's .. color pic much like wearing a dress like marines ....If I am not wrong , he used to serve for the army .. I know this comment does not go with the project but to be honest I could not help myself to stop from talking what I have just observed ..

For the bird, I would like it perched much like it is in the photo, facing to the left. As for color, I'd like it to be bright, like the photo, so it stands out. HMMMM?
