Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a new organization called the "Savannah River Clean Water Fund." Here is the mission:

“Our mission is to protect the water supply for communities and businesses along the Savannah River in Georgia and South Carolina. We make smart investments in land protection, which pay dividends in cleaner water for generations to come.”

We want to see green and blue, abstract modern designs, and we want to emphasize financial stability and trustworthiness

Influential Citizens
This group includes Chambers of Commerce representatives, journalists, elected officials, and other civic leaders who keep an eye on the economy and quality of life in the area.

These individuals tend to have college educations and can handle very advanced reading materials in their area of expertise. However, these individual are also very busy and prefer to read materials at approximately the writing level of a newspaper.

Rate Payers
The end customers, who will ultimately foot the bill for the initiative, are the general population of a large watershed that includes urban, suburban, and rural areas. Market research generally suggests that the public will support modest surcharges for clean water if and when they are confident that the funds will be used as intended.

These consumers will tend to form snap judgements about the Initiative based on a superficial review of the materials or the general direction of news coverage.
