Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our website, www.fightnews.co.nz. We're a New Zealand site, focusing on New Zealand fighters mostly, as well as significant fights worldwide. We want to rebrand our online appearance to be more professional.
Our current branding is red, black, and white, which we would like to preserve mostly. Greys could be used as well. Please look at our website to see what is used currently.
Ideally the logo will reflect our New Zealand focus. A fern or a kiwi or other "kiwiana" in there unobtrusively. Also, it would be great if the logo reflects that our website is all about fighting.

Requirements

Must have

• Black, red, grey, and white colour scheme. Don't have to use all of those colours, but choose from those options

Nice to have

• -A fern or kiwi to show NZ focus, could be just an outline within text
  -Fight specific; we only talk about fights. i.e. a boxing glove or fist or something
  -A thumbnail version (could just be FN instead of fight news) for Facebook etc
