Logo Design Brief
This is a global consultancy that does marketing, writing, editing, and PR for science and tech companies, academics/scientists, and general businesses.
Main topics are communications, health sciences, NGOs and human development, IT, business. NOT chemistry, physics, etc.
The company is named Scize (pronounced "size"). It has nothing to do with size or measurement. Sci is for science. Scize is the name because it's short and sounds good.
The logo should be a sharp, memorable, not-complex design that communicates: business, communication, science. It should feel trustworthy, modern, a little exciting but not risky.
Inspiration: Tetley, Puma, Amazon, Verisign, Inkfish
The company deals with IT, healthcare, and areas like psychology and social sciences. It DOES NOT deal with chemistry, physics, planets, etc.

Updates
The designs so far have not included any memorable logos and do not show creativity. Many are in overly funky sans-serif fonts and using unsuitable colors and simply making slight adjustments that have no meaning. Please read the brief and the logos I like. There are no winning candidates yet so you can easily win this with a good, sharp, mature design that has some memorable feature.

Requirements
Must have
- Use different colors or shades for "Sci" and "ze" – The "Sci" stands for "science", so it should be differentiated.
The name Scize should be clearly readable whether or not you use the name in the logo itself.
It can be abstract and/or minimalist. It should be visible on a phone (i.e., a small screen).
The logo must show up well on white or transparent. Use dark on light.
Nice to have
- (1) be integrated with the business name Scize
OR (2) be to the left of the business name Scize
Try both serif and sans-serif
Should not have
- Don't use SCIZE. Use Scize.
Don't use cliche "science" images like test tubes, beakers, microscopes, atoms.
Don't use too many colors. Don't use light or feminine colors.
Don't use light text on a dark background.
Don't just use an S or do what you "usually do".
