Logo Design Brief

We have a small, family owned business off the coast of Vancouver, Canada. We don't want a logo with a corporate feel. We like to idea of ferns and west coast greenery or wildflowers rather than tropical flowers on the logo (please see pictures attached). We would like it to be simple and minamilist.
