Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a yet to build website called: Sportschool Gids (www.sportschoolgids.nl) this is dutch for gym guide.. btw. This will be a directory listing kinda website that will include not only the standard fitness gyms but also focusses on the smaller gyms and sports that are rare or to small to find. Like a: MMA, boxing, yoga, judo school or a local chinese Kung-Fu school (you never heared of) as a few examples.. could be any sport..

- Logo mainly needs to be horizontally streched due to website header.
- Logo also needs to be good looking on mobile view (if as small image).
- A logo image or something else is also possible; suprise me.
- Website will be white background.
- Website will be fresh and web2.0 style, less is more idea (white/greys/black) images/photos/logos from gyms will make it pop.
- Website will use Ubuntu (main font) and Roboto font (headers).

What i like in a logo? Clean, fresh, straight to the point, attractive (wow effect (that a great logo)), not overdone, has to say something.
