Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new startup based in Toronto, Canada called "Butterscotch Capital". We are establishing an online, digital-first mortgage lending company with the goal of creating a first-class offering to both borrowers and investors in order to democratize and modernize the financial services industry. We are aiming to build a purpose-driven brand for an honest, ethical and socially minded lender that would turn the existing industry on its head.

Would like to see designs that use simple and modern fonts, possibly a rounded sans serif. Have included some suggested colours below. Would like to see a stylized graphic of a butterscotch candy (example image links below). The graphic as well as the words "butter" and "scotch" should each be in a different colour.

The above guidelines are suggestions only and submitting designers should feel free to deviate and propose alternatives. Happy to receive creative input!
