Logo Design Brief

PLEASE CHECK THIS DESCRIPTION

We need a logo design for a new online lamp company based in Chile called "DearLight" (Mid Century Style lamps). It's aimed at a higher target so we would like to see designs that uses black and white colors with some golden streaks, they are those colors that are used more in the luxury market. The design must be simple, it has been thought of a one line drawing with strokes that emulate those that are given with chinese ink.

"DearLight" tells a story that is written in a life diary, we imagine dried flowers, daisies and a person who later takes that life diary, reads it and relives romantic memories, "turning on" the most beautiful emotions.

DearLight is about remembering the past, remembering those love letters that were written in the younger years. It reminds us of the movie "The Notebook" when Noah goes to war and writes to his beloved under a table lamp in the dim light.

It also reminds us of our grandmothers sewing late into the night and our mothers sitting to one side.
