Logo Design Brief

*****Overall Goal******
As our company continues to grow, we are moving towards an umbrella\masterbrand focus for our various initiatives.

We want to refocus and develop our [Boxer] brand to be easier to recognize across various initiatives.


(Pictures linked below) Boxer BBQ was founded in 2005. Boxer Barbeque has a classy sports-bar feel with 10 flat-screen televisions and seating for 80 on the main floor while still preserving the uniqueness of a building from the 1800’s. A community table is a focal point of the restaurant and seats 24 right down the middle of the restaurant.

Right now we have the following business under operation:
- Boxer BBQ (Dine-in, Take-out, Bar, Online, Banquet Hall)
- Boxer Catering

*****Tomorrow*****
In the near future we are expanding into:
- Changing our corporate name from Boxer Barbeque, LLC to Boxer [undecided], LLC.
- Boxer Fresh (A farm-to-table focused dine-in restaurant)
- Boxer Events (Expansion of catering to include more end-to-end services)
- Boxer Foods (prepackaged items like sauces)


***** New Logo Goals *****
Focus on [Boxer] with being able to attach\include in each business unit like BBQ, Catering, or Fresh as needed.

We may need some of the following or a combination of them to meet our needs, depending on the ability to scale and remain visible.

- Small Icon Logo (Usage ideal for business cards, physical items like sauces bottles, and other quick glance branding, online ads)
- Standard (Letterhead, Website, online ads, physical menu)
- Banner (Giftcards, postcard size marketing, physical banner, for events like fairs and booths)

***** Industry Concept: (Not for design, only for concept) *****
We are looking for something that would let us have a visual brand in a similar brand family concept.
-- Virgin (Atlantic, Mobile, Records, Airlines, etc.)
-- FedEx (Ground, Office, Smart, etc.)
-- Amazon (Smile, Fresh, Prime, Now, etc.)
-- Marriott, etc.

These are not hard requirements and open for design ideas:

- [Boxer] does not have any relation to the definition, consider it to be like a last name, so anything design wise is something we can consider.
- Continue to be inspired by Harley Davidson Logo
- BBQ: Similar 'Fire' colors Black, Red, Orange
- BBQ: Tag line on bigger sized logos. Unique, Unparalleled, Unforgettable

-Boxer + BBQ and Catering: could be something simple like a the FedEx, or more specialized like Virgin for each sub-brand
