This is a startup that features original artwork of each of the national parks in the United States with plans to expand to state parks and more. We need an iconic logo that draws upon the rich history of the national park system in the US and plays on the air of adventure and awe that our national parks inspire in the country.
These are some of the most majestic spaces in the world and we would like to keep it adventurous with an air of whimsy. Our natural spaces are fiercely loved and protected and we'd love to capture some of that passion and energy in our logo.
They are also iconic- as an American, you'll recognize a national park sign anywhere. We would love to capture some of the brand power of that and utilize it for this company.
The things that strike out at me:
-whimsy
-passion
-iconic
-vintage (but not 'retro'. I think that is overused)

Requirements
Must have
- We must capture the energy and passion behind the advocates of the United States National Park System. I'd like to incorporate some of the adventure, wanderlust, and whimsy that the national parks invoke in the US.
The colors should be 'natural' but drawing from the palate of nature, you'll have a lot to work with.
Nice to have
- Somehow incorporate the feel of the national park signs (attached for inspo)
Should not have
- It shouldn't be too formal. It shouldn't be too serious. Not 'retro' but should have a classic, iconic feel (think of the attached park sign).
