Logo Design Brief
I am creating a company where I will sell an online course that teaches hopeful adoptive families how to adopt independently without the use of an expensive adoption agency. Instead, I will show them step by step how to create a family profile and how to market it to expectant mothers considering adoption online. This course is about teaching families how to become their own hero in their adoption journey instead of relying/paying someone else to make it happen for them. This course is brand new to the adoption industry and no other person is showing families how to use the modern tools to help them create content and show off what makes their family unique and awesome.
From a personality standpoint, I consider myself to be confident, down to earth, no BS and tech savvy. I'm the kind of person you can crawl up on the couch and drink wine with after a bad day and also might occasionally use the word "fuck" which I've been told makes people feel like they can let their guard down with me and just vent, laugh, and be human.
I'm open minded about my logo and I'm willing to consider multiple text and graphic approaches. Baby, superhero, teacher, education, family or other type imagery is welcome (or no imagery at all).
Note that I do not have an established brand color pallet so you have freedom to use whatever color choices you like. That said, with your logo design, I'd like to see your recommendation for a color pallet of 3-6 colors. This pallet will be used on my website, media, and all future materials I create as part of my course. I haven't select any themes or styles yet so your color choices will influence my direction in that respect. Please note, the logo should natural work with the color pallet you suggest.
Note - I've included some of my initial ideas. I'm not married to them.
Update 09/07 --------
I have seen enough interpretations of my initial logo concepts. For variety, I would love to see something that incorporates one (or all) of the following: a super hero cape, a shield, a super hero letter mark (think superman S), or some kind of baby related imagery.

Nice to have
- I personally gravitate more towards cool colors, HOWEVER, I'm very open minded and will consider any color pallet that works well with the design. I'm open to pops of warm colors as well if it looks good.
Should not have
- If you choose to include any type mask imagery in the logo, it must come off as super hero, and NOT bank robber.
