Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for my new woodworking business in Georgia. My brother and I create cutting boards (and more) from exotic woods. I really like the idea of two axes back to back to create the letter "T". I need a logo with the company name, and one that can stand alone without any wording, so that it can be burnt into wood. If possible... I'd also like an american flag somehow incorporated into it. For the business card I'd like the logo to look as though it's burnt into a piece of wood.
