River Friendly Living inspires a culture of voluntary river conservation in the Verde River valley. We support and recognize those who strive to protect the river at their homes and businesses.

Informal Verbal Mission Statement:

Do you want to show your love for our community and the river that sustains us? If you’re not sure where to begin, we can help. Friends of the Verde offers the River Friendly Living program for people like you. We’ll provide a checklist of simple ways for you to do your part. As the program grows, they will add up to make a big difference. Once you commit to these steps, we’ll publicly recognize you so your action can inspire others.
