Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my mental health counseling practice. The logo needs to be two trees (an Oak tree and Linden tree) intertwined. Our main principles are compassion, connection, caring, and kindness. The name is based on the Greek/Roman myth of Baucis and Philemon. I have included the color scheme below. I played around with the ampersand being the intertwined part of the tree. Couldn't quite get it to work.
