Can I ask you a question? As this is my first time using the site and the services - I wanted to know the best practices for those bidding on my logo. Would you want a positive score on the work even if I didn't select it? Would you want me just to erase it? What helps the designer the most - even if not right for my job? Sorry for the late reply.
Umm...according to my experience, you may eliminate those designs which is not relevance for your business type.
That will not effect those designers profile who participate in your project. Also, it will help you to narrow down your selection process.

But "star rating " can effect designers profile and enthusiasm.
So, if you don't like or if deign not for your business, you should eliminate those rather giving low star rating. But you can give good star rating those design which you like, even you didn't select them as winner.
