3D Design Brief

Project Decor is a site that will be launching soon. It lets users visualize their personal design style, share it with friends and then shop it to create their dream home.

Assignment:

Create a dream room using Project Decor's new simple drag-and-drop design tool. Design a hip and stylish design board with furniture, accessories, rugs and lighting from Project Decor. If you want, you can upload a picture of a room of your choice (optional).

Directions:

1. Go to http://demo.projectdecor.com/ and enter the password: nyyankees at the bottom of the page.
2. Go to Sign In and create an account. Passwords need to be at least 8 characters in any combination “(AAAAAAAA” is fine). Also remember to click “Agree to Terms and Conditions” Box at bottom.
3. Click on “Create” and put your design skills to work. Create a dream room by incorporating at least 4 items from Project Decor (select from any or all of the categories: furniture, rugs, accessories and lighting). You have the option to upload a picture if you want. Give your board a name (click on Scene Title and type in name) and make sure to save.
4. Submit completed design board. Click on "share" and then send to contest@projectdecor.com.

Note: Each designer may create 3 boards but each should be for a different room and contain different items.

IMPORTANT: As the site is still under development, please do not share your completed boards with any one else, even by email.
