Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my new company based in Nelson, New Zealand called "Solly Betrieb". My name is Lance Solly and my company is going to offer the following services: quarry management, machine operator, truck driver, mechanic. I would like to see a design that uses the letter L (see image below) and illustrates the services I offer, however I'm open to other designs/ ideas. I'm looking for a logo I can use on my business card and clothing, so it needs to be something that still looks professional in a small size (i.e. on the business card).
