Logo Design Brief

Need a horizontal logo in a yellow / orange / red format to fit into the top left of a website. Please see the uploads for inspiration, but add a modern twist to the logo.

The website is aimed at programmers, and the overall site design will be quite sober, other than a colorful and interesting logo. I want it to be distinctive but not unprofessional.

The logo will sit on a background of colour rgb(52, 58, 64), and normally (although not always so will need to be larger) be in a space of around approx. 185 x 40 pixels.

PLEASE SEE THE UPLOADED CONTENT FOR DESIGN STYLES DESIRED. One of the files also displays the pace in which the logo will be placed.
