Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a logo for an application that I am developing. It is to manage 3D-Printing workflow and monitoring 3D-printers.
The application will run on an internal website (intranet) to manage the production workflow in a browser like Google chrome or Safari. Additionally a small display will be added to the 3D printers as control screens (Raspberry Pi with 3.5" screen) to control the printer and trigger the next part for printing

My target clients are small and medium 3D-printing services. The logo will be used in the application that is installed at the client's printing facility.
