Logo Design Brief

We need a logo that is solemn but not intimidating for a start up company that offers assistance in all areas of ensuring that when the time comes all of your affairs we be in order. Our mission is to take this overwhelming and very scary process and make it as painless as impossible. Or services are directed at people of all ages and we are committed to helping people begin planning early as well as keeping their plans up to date as they move through the stages of their life. We believe that preparing for death is a vital part of making sure that those you love aren't left to try to figure out what someone would have wanted after it is too late to ask all the important questions. It is important to us that our logo conveys a sense of comfort and strength. We do not want anything with religious overtones or overly oriented towards images of death or dying or anything with pastels or overly bright colors. The perfect logo would convey a sense of comfort and hopeful security. Extra points for giving some sense of the afterlife (as in your things and wishes living on after you) without any sense of religion.
