Logo Design Brief

We are flexible as to the design and offer the following elements for inspiration:
* Our breed of cattle is Red Devon. They are grass fed and grass finished in an all natural way on our farm.
* We describe our product as "gourmet beef."
* Our farm is in the Red Hills region of southwest Georgia (USA) known for its rolling hills, quail plantations, pine trees, and lush grasses and forages.
* Our land provides pasture for our cattle and our chickens, and our woods provide a sanctuary for wildlife such as turkeys, deer, and quail.
* We have a pond surrounded by pine trees and other hardwoods.
* Our barn is board and batten cypress and is situated on one of the many terraces in our fields and is visible from our home and across our pond.
* Our farm name derives from a painting we own (see image) of a black bear beside a pine tree. Because of the blue in his coloring, we opted to identify ourselves as Blue Bear Farm.
* Our signage (see image) reflects the name of our farm and our cattle breed with the language: Gourmet Beef on Grass
* We do not brand our cattle, but are open to consideration of a design that might incorporate a "brand" image.
* We are not wedded to either the bear or the sign being our logo.
