We need a logo for Alabama's official trade association for captive insurance called the "Alabama Captive Insurance Association". The Alabama Captive Insurance Association (ACIA) supports the captive insurance industry in Alabama through education, recruitment of insurance professionals, providing networking opportunities for insurance professionals, and member advocacy. For the logo design, we want to embody the versatility of the landscape of Alabama. Alabama is one of the few states where one could go from mountains in the north to rivers throughout to white sandy beaches in the south. We need the detail in the logo and the wording to look professional, clean, and easy to stitch on a collared shirt or hat. We'd also like the State of Alabama with the letters "ACIA" to be able to stand alone as an icon. We want to utilize a simple color scheme that would stand out, such as green and black. An example graphic is attached. The final design should portray the beauty and versatility of the State of Alabama and communicate the economic growth and opportunity available within the insurance industry in the state.
