Logo Design Brief

Change Logo - I like the concept of the logo but I hate the fade of the C into the ball. I think it should be more natural (it looks cheap)... can you just change the end of the C into the ball into a fade?

I am also looking for the rc and the integration into Rachel Coleman sports.
