Logo Design Brief

I am looking for a simple logo without graphics - Just my business name:
I will be selling luxury multi generational travel to All Inclusive resorts and handling destination weddings.
I want sleek, clean lines in the text/font. I'm not sold on color yet - Was thinking chrome, or silver, or ocean blues/greens with fading in the color of the logo.
I had someone design a quick cheap logo - to me it reminds me more of the text from the movie Aladdin than luxury. I'll include it so you have a starting point.
