Design a logo to create a brand identity for a new travel website. This site will promote the happenings in and around Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. The audience is tourists looking for info about the park (what they can see, where to see it, where are the best spots and wildlife to photograph, etc.). Logo should include iconic mountain(s) such as Longs Peak or Hallett Peak (see attached for images of both) and wildlife seen in the park (Rocky Mountain elk, moose, bighorn sheep, etc.). Colors should reflect the natural setting of mountains, water, forest, wildlife and snow (browns, blues, greens, white). Logo will be used primarily online (social media, website) but also on a white business card. DiscoverRocky should be more prominent in the logo than .com. The graphic portion of the logo should be distinct from the text portion (should have clear separation; no overlapping, no integration with both). I have also attached a few samples of travel logos of the style I like. Overall this logo should be fun, informative and encourage people to book tours.
Target Market(s)
Primary: Travelers to Colorado, particularly Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park; Secondary: Local photographers and visitors looking for information about the park and surrounding area.
