Logo Design Brief

I need a logo redesign. While I like the existing logo, I've received many comments on the "scary nun". I would like to keep the nun but if it could be modified to look a bit less ominous that would be great.

Los Dulces is an artisan candy company specializing in small-batch, Spanish Old-World traditional candies and chocolates. The flavors are a blending of both my Spanish and Mexican heritage.

If you're feeling REALLY creative I'd consider a complete redesign (if inclusive enough), but it's not my first choice.
