Logo Design Brief

We are apprentice students of arboriculture, in the second level (the last) of our in-school training. Each year the class makes a sweater. We will be buying sweaters from arborwear.com, and using a single colour process to print the logo / image on the front of the shirt. Likely colour is dark green or black. The colour of the image/logo has to be light to work with this set up. We don't need full t-shirt/sweater help.. just a logo to put on it.

We are looking for an image that incorporates a tree (or trees), and ideally, a representation of an arborist climbing or in that tree OR arborist tools like a chainsaw and Silky handsaw etc.

I personally tend towards engraved/hand drawn / wood cut retro sort of styles, especially since this will be one colour (light on dark). That being said initial review will be by about 5 people including myself, top three will be voted on by 70 people so it is open to whatever style.
