I need a logo for a new dance class that I am starting in Melbourne. I want the logo to encompass the freedom and fun of the dance class whilst clearly giving a visual indication of what the class focuses on (Disco dancing). It's a new, unique class aimed to be a fun escape from reality. The target audience would be adults from 30-50. Below is a quick description of the dance class
Think Saturday Night Fever. Think the Village People. Aretha Franklin. Elvis Presley. Donna Summer. Grease. The Bangles. Michael Jackson. Rocky Horror Picture Show. Bootsy Collins. Pretty Woman. The Locomotion. The Bump. Soul Train………And that’s just to mention a few
Discgogo is a mix of all of those great (and not so great) dance fads from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. It’s best described as a party under the guise of exercise. Yes, you sweat as you jiggle and throw your limbs around. Yes, you get to lose yourself in the music greats of times gone by but in no way do you feel like you’ve spent an hour exercising – even though you have. No prior dance experience is required and classes are casual.
