Book Cover Design Brief

This book cover must convey the fact that the scientific evidence is clear that the afterlife is a reality. Attached are two ideas, but they're not working for me as they are. It could be that I'm not a graphic artist and can't get the composition correct. If there is a view of the afterlife, it must be realistic. The afterlife is just like this life. We can't use the family photo. I don't have permission.
