Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a growing restaurant chain based in Davao City, Philippines, called 'Barbeque Boss of Davao'. Our main product is pork barbeque on a stick, but we also have sizzling plates and local favorites. We would like to see refreshed designs on our current logo without completely changing the whole character of it. We want the final design to communicate to our market as, "Oh, wow. It was about time that this restaurant updated its design and we're excited for what's to come." and, "Oh, wow. This restaurant chain is from Davao." We will be attaching the brand logo that we have been using for 10 years for reference.
