Logo Design Brief
The APY Lands are located in the far North West of South Australia and are the traditional lands of the Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara (who refer to themselves as "Anangu") peoples.

Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Trade Training Centre (APY TTC) is a Vocational Education and Training "Trade Training Centre", located at Umuwa and established by 9 APY Lands Anangu Schools with Australian Federal Government funding. The centre was built in 2012 and provides a range of Vocational Education and Training (VET) opportunities to Anangu secondary students and community members, that include Hospitality and cooking, Construction and Horticulture, Automotive, Early Childhood Education, and many short courses and professional development seminars.

Students come mainly from APY Lands Anangu schools including Pipalyatjara, Murputja, Amata, Ernabella, Kenmore Park, Fregon, Mimili and Indulkana. Other Anangu schools that have used the facility include Yalata and Docker River.

The APY Trade Training Centre has been successful in providing secondary students with the opportunity to complete entry level qualifications and have that training credited towards the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). A growing number of Anangu students will complete their SACE, through a combination of more traditional secondary education and Vocational Education, that otherwise may not have experienced success.
The APY Trade Training Centre allows Anangu secondary students the opportunity to complete their secondary education, gain training, qualifications and experience in a simulated industry setting, without leaving the APY Lands. A visible example of the student's learning is through the annual Anangu Schools Cook Off competition (https://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-12-17/apy-lands-training-centre-latest-graduates/7035326) where student teams from each of the schools prepare a 3 course meal for a panel of judges.

The Task
To prepare a simple logo graphic that is easily reproduced in both colour and mono, that can be used for letterhead, web presence, embroidered uniforms , vehicle and building signage. It should if possible reflect the APY Trade Training Centre's geographical, educational, and transformative character.

The attached letterhead shows the correct spelling, address and includes the "Government of South Australia - Department for Education" logo that must be included on letterheads and email signatures
