Logo Design Brief

I need a logo that contains the silhouette of a Mountain Bluebird (species proportions important as well as shade of blue) combined with the outline or shape of a local mountain/cliff called McIntyre Bluff (British Columbia, Canada).

***lets try some designs with the outline of apex mountain (peak pictured on left side of this image):

*** the outline of the peak is the important part. Try to use outline only not too many details

****KEEP DESIGNS SIMPLE AND STYLIZED WHILE MAINTAINING BLUEBIRD SHAPE, less detail, especially of mountain/bluff. Can we try to use just the outline of bluff/mountain in a clean modern logo style? Get creative with it, play with the shapes, angle of bird etc, until the two elements work nicely together.

*** the bird is the focus, the mountain is just a backdrop so make sure bird is in front or at least not too small. This is a birdwatching tour company after all. don’t get caught up in the name mountain bluebird, species name, The mountain is less important than the bird.

****you can use either the bluff or apex mountain as a backdrop, if using the bluff let’s try some colours like tan, brown, rust to have the cliff look more like a desert landscape feature. We can use another colour in addition to blue.

the Bluebird should be in flight with the bluff below or behind in some way. I want a clean but accurate representation. Stylized is okay but it is important that the bird especially (it is for a birdwatching tour company) and the local landmark are somewhat true to shape.*** but doesn’t need to be highly detailed

some ideas I had were of combining the two shapes in some synergistic way.

Requirements

Must have

• A blue coloured bird! A blue similar to the shade of blue of a mountain bluebird. A logo that is transferable on multiple background colours, hopefully only using 2 or 3 colours total. A font that can be reproduced on other material.

Nice to have

• Combining the two shapes ( bird and landmark) in a clever, creative way
