Logo Design Brief

This is for a non-profit youth baseball / softball organization for two adjoining towns. We are looking for a logo design that will be used on electronic and print media along with fundraising merchandise.
We would like the logo to incorporate a ball player into the capital letter 'S' (for Sanborn), see concept attached.
