Logo Design Brief
We are an oil & gas service company located throughout the southeastern U.S.. The company is planning to launch a new website and branding strategy this year, and the logo will be a big feature in all marketing endeavors.
For the new logo, we would like a modern designers take on the old logo; with a few key elements/features that we have provided in the attached documents.
We would prefer the design to have a masculine feel and utilize the preferred fonts and color schemes attached. The ideal logo will feature a version of the original oil derrick for the background, and you will find additional derricks in uploaded files for inspiration.
About the uploaded files:
1. Fonts PDF - the preferred fonts are (in order of pref):
Arbutus Slab*
Vidaloka*
Jacques Francois Shadow*
*fonts were taken from Google Fonts
-feel free to use other fonts that you feel have a similar look
2. Images and Colors PDF:
- page 1 is the original logo
- the next 6 pages are reference images of oil derricks
- the last page show the three color schemes that we like (feel free to use them or something similar)*

!!!We are kind of split on what we would like for the text on the logo. The current logo shows:
"Angelle & Donohue
Oil and Gas Properties, Inc."
we have also thought about just going with:
"A&D"
if you would like to show us your thoughts on each, we would GREATLY appreciate the options.
PS: we are excited to work with a talented designer that is a good communicator. we will provide as much feedback as possible, and respect the creativity process of the designers. we want to assure all designers that we will follow through with this project.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We would like to first thank everyone for all of their submissions on this project. After receiving a high volume of exceptional designs, we would like to extend the deadline by seven days to ensure that we are communicating all desired changes to the top five designers for the last round of reviews and requirements. The amount of designs received in combination with all the severe weather incurred in our PM's region (New York City) has left us behind schedule.

Reason: Thank you all for your time and efforts on this project. Our executive team is making their final selections, and we will personally message the top five designers to submit changes if needed. We will award this project on Sunday, February 16th.
Thank you again for your time and understanding. We did not expect to have so many talented designers submit work on our project. It has made the selection process very exciting, but very hard too.
