Logo Design Brief

At Perth bee rescue, we are aiming to rescue bees instead of killing them, we are not pest control, rather we prefer to save the bees and shift them to an apiary where they are safe. We go to houses or places where there are beehives and we help them shift bees to these apiaries with SPECIALIZED equipment which serve as temporary homes to these bees. So what happens to these Bees? The swarm will be placed in the finest award-winning hive manufactured in Turkey which gives the colony the best chance of survival (basically a bee hotel). Seeing the swarm are surviving purely on honey stores within their gut the colony is fed sugar syrup (carbohydrate) and pollen substitute (protein) on the spot to stimulate the bees to build comb, forage and most importantly for the queen to start laying eggs as soon as she can. The bees are then relocated to a quarantine apiary to determine whether the colony is healthy and disease-free before merging with the main apiary. As you can see, a lot goes into it before even a drop of honey is produced...

We are looking for a logo for merchandising, where we have a mascot like bee, which looks very professional, any cartoon looking bee designs will be discarded, it should look more like a blend of a mascot and an emblem, symbolizing what we do, we are also adding a picture of a design we picked from design crowd from another project which is for our honey business, it can be like that but not very similar, we want something out of the box, we prefer a yellow coloured bee over a black background, but we would be open to ideas in terms of background, but have a bright yellow.
