Logo Design Brief

I'm looking for a logo for our church. Something that would work well across a variety of mediums (signage, letterhead, t-shirts, etc). We're a 60-year-old Lutheran church - a bit on the traditional side - so I would like something that blends traditional with modern. I have uploaded a couple of images of the exterior and interior of our church if that helps!
