Logo Design Brief

We need a logo. Spere is latin for hope/wish. We are UK military veterans who have been working in disaster response. We help people affected by disasters to make life saving decisions.

There are two key parts to what we do: firstly building resilience down to communities by giving them the technology (tools), training and support and secondly getting information out to the public.

A key facet for our success is that the organisation is seen as highly professional and credible so we are looking for a brand that is sharp.

Also, as ex-miliary types we like the image of a spear or an animal (e.g. sting ray) that possesses one. However, given that we are humanitarians and work with a large cross section we don't want it to put people off. Therefore, we are keen to explore other interpretations of the meaning of spere i.e. wish/hope.

Target Market(s)

A wide cross section - public, government, academia, humanitarian organisations and private sector. However, the target audience is Governments.
