Logo Design Brief

I would like a logo made for my plumbing and heating company. I want the logo to be horizontal and an emblem made from the initials PD with the P and the D to have the colours of a gradient red to orange to symbolize heat and a gradient blue to a deeper blue to symbolize water somewhere involved in the emblem. I would like the overall style of the logo to be modern and clearly visible on a silver van.
