Logo Design Brief

I am looking to re-design an existing logo used at a school in Nicaragua. I am including the sample of what is currently used, and I would like to modernize/update the look and feel of it, while maintaining some basic foundational components used in the initial logo. The school is a Christian school and has 3 key symbols used in the logo: A bible, a crown and a cross. I would like to maintain those 3 symbols. I would also like to see different colors incorporated to include blue, green, and or/purple. Feel free to also change the shape of the logo. It will often be used as an emblem/logo printed on shirts as well. The name of the School is: Escuela Cristiana Nuevo Pacto. It is located in a town called Los Brasiles. There is a bible verse reference which I would like to keep: Proverbio 1:7 or can be abbreviated to read Prov. 1:7 Lastly, there are 3 words in the logo, which I would like replaced. The current words are: Amor a Dios, Disciplina, Superacion. I would like to replace with the words: Esperanza, Capacitación, Transformación.
