Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for our new church, called Mission Bible Church. You can find out about us at http://mission-bible.net. We have a draft concept that's pretty simple: a globe with a cross over the top, diagonally, and the words "Mission Bible" over the top, and "Church" at the bottom (see attached). We need a good 4-5 colors for a good color palette, too. Prefer Seriff fonts. We are Protestant, not Catholic, so no catholic-style mission doors. Key concepts are "we are on a mission", and "we are conservative but not too stiff". No rainbow colors. Prefer maroon and deep gold color scheme, with shades of grey to complement. Avoid pink and pastel colors; prefer rich colors. Dark background with lighter color letters also preferred.
