Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design to make our non-profit dancing association in Brussels (Belgium) look more professional, and that has a visual impact on our public. People should remember it when seeing it ones.

B-Rock : the lettre "B" stands for "Brussels, Belgium and ToBe" which means "being/living/feeling rock 'n roll in Brussels/Belgium"

Two big purposes of our project/association :
1) Rock 'n Roll
- let people in Brussel and surroundings discover the Rock 'n Roll dance style
- organise every month dance events only for Rock 'n Roll dancers
- give Rock 'n Roll dance classes to let people learn dancing Rock 'n Roll
2) Non-profit association
- all benefits from these events and classes are used to support other non-profit associations which are active in Belgian Human Help Services
- all people working at our B-Rock ASBL are volunteers which are not paid

Requirements

Must have

• The final design should :
  - make it clear it goes about the Rock 'n Roll dance (NOT Hard Rock !!)... an example is the disco ball we used on our website (but this is not mandatory at all)
  - give the feeling that it goes about dancing/music... our the feeling of it
  - should suite for printing on big advertisings but a kind of small icon should be able to reproduce from it (example : like the white lettre "f" on a blue background from facebook) = 1 logo (larger and more design) and 1 icon (small and less design/text)
  
  Colors sheme :
  - our website "www.b-rockparty.be" should help you to have an idea of the concept and also the kind of design we are looking for (we can always answer by email : brussels.rock@hotmail.com)
  
  Deliverable for the logo :
  - should include a version that we could use/modify partially indeed needed in the future (example : photoshop version)
  - high quality design : for printing on A3 sheets our bigger if possible
  - color schemes adapted to our website and at least a black and white version (and editable if possible)
  
  - if possible (as extra) : the little icon version (also in an editable version)

Nice to have

• Optional : that is reflects that we help other non-profit associations by gathering money to help them (optional, because we understand this can be certainly be tricky on just a logo... compared with a flyer).

Should not have

• Hard Rock style (it's not about the music, but about the Rock 'n Roll Dance, like Elvis Presley).
  
  The final design should not look like it was made by an amateur !
