Logo Design Brief

Maprosoft is a software development company. The company website is http://www.maprosoft.com.

We need a logo. A few words describing our preferences are:

* Corporate
* Simple
* Smart
* Elegant
* Maps

We like negative space designs, but this is not mandatory.

The company website uses a blue/grey/white theme so our preference would be to utilize these colors. Currently the website does not have a logo, but the new logo will be added to a banner across the top of the website.

We think the logo should be a graphic only. It does not need to incorporate the name "Maprosoft".

The company produces several software products:

* Mapro-web: http://www.maprosoft.com/mapro-web.html
* Mapro-app: http://www.maprosoft.com/mapro-app.html
* Mapro-issue: http://www.maprosoft.com/mapro-issue.html

It would be ideal if the Maprosoft logo could be also utilized as a base for product logos so that they all form a consistent theme of logos, yet are easily distinguishable from one another.

There are two major target markets of Maprosoft:

a) Clients: Most clients will be from large organisations, many of which will be local government.
b) Partners: A typical partner will be a content management system (CMS) vendor.
