Logo Design Brief

The company name is Edi Blatter AG. The logo will be used on our website at first and later on pretty much all of our comunications, like newsletter, businesscards, offers, etc.
I expect that the look of the logo ist "professional", matches the high end products and services we sell.
The logo should not be to colorfull, I think greyscale should do the trick, but I'm interested to also see some ideas with colors.
I'm not looking for graphics, please focus on "letters".
